I wonder if anyone has access to the parish records of Upper Killeavy. I am looking for any Bennett or Hanlon/O'Hanlon records. In particular, I'm looking for anything on Denis Bennett and Hannah Hanlon.
Thanks
Shelley

Hi,
Any idea of dates?

I have details of baptisms to this couple from about 1836 in Lower Killeavy, so anything before then would be good. I have 3 of their sons Bernard, Francis (both b abt 1832) and Michael (b abt 1835) which I don't have baptism records for.

You don't say what denomination but I assume it's likely to be RC. Upper Killeavy's records only start in 1832, so you are unlikely to get anything much earlier than you already have.

Yes, sorry Elwyn. They were Catholic.

Hi Shelley,
Ancestry has recently uploaded the following repository of records:
Ireland, Catholic Parish Records, 1655-1915
Parish records for Killeavy Upper are included, starting from 1832 as previously stated. These are currently free to search via the English version of the site throughout March.
I will see what I can find for you.

Hi
Just wondering if anyone is researching the King family of Upper Killeavy. I'm sifting through all the information on Ancestry etc but was hoping there may be someone who is also looking at the family so that we can compare notes
Cheers
