I am very excited as I have been looking for more information for these people for years, but today I went on to the Family Search website, put the daughter's name in and Lo and Behold out it came. I now know the daughter was born in Aliwal North Cape of Good Hope in 1928, AND all I have to do is find the date her parents were married and when she herself married.
In case anyone was on these boards before when I asked for help it was for my great uncle Godfrey Moore who married Maria Petronella Vorster and had a daughter Protea Rosalind in 1928 who married a MJ Botha. There is also a name, Marie Petronella Moore born 1924 which I suspect may be theirs as well, though the death certificate for Maria didn't show this one.
Anyway, I'm feeling good

If Marie Petronella died before her mother she will not appear on her mother's death notice.

Thank you all for your kind remarks and braw I will take that into consideration and look up to see if there is a death for Marie, or if she got married and then died.
Of course, now I have a little bit of information I am like everyone and immediately want more ;D
