Title: Olive Bank, Rosemount Street, Maxwelltown/Dumfries
Post by: lesleyegreen on Sunday 07 September 14 15:41 BST (UK)
Hi everyone,
I am interested in the history of this particular house and wondered if there were any Rootschatters out there that had information about this particular property. Will try to get into the Ewart this week to see what I can find.
Thanks
Lesley :)

Thanks for that. I am interested in the McInnes family who lived there from the 1940's/1950's onwards.

Hi
Have managed a trip to the Ewart Library and found out most of the information I need. The McInnes family moved in 1934 to 1935 and lived there until 1993. Thank you for the help.

Hi there, I've just came across this post as I was trying to also find out more about olive bank. I'm actually a member of the McInnes family. My mother and her 4 sisters and brother got brought up there their whole life, my mum was born 1963. She was the youngest of the 6. Parents were William Mcinnes and Isabel Mcinnes. My papa William past away in that house in Feb 1993. It was my his mum's house until she passed away in 1967. If this is any help?
Hope to hear back from you.
