is there any way of finding a baptism for patrick hopkins born 17 mar 1845 mayo ireland, sorry do not know were in mayo, his parents patrick hopkins and ann conmee thanks

rootsireland is the only real choice for pre 1864 records but you need to know what townland in Mayo that your family came from to see do records for that parish still exist.
I had a look at their free index and the Hopkins / Conmee combination is not showing up.
Are you sure they were from Mayo ?

the record you found is sons williams bap my great grandad, the only thig i have to go off is census records ,which only sas born mayo ireland

I am a Hopkins descendent from Attycunnane, Belmullet. William my 3rd great grandfather, his wife Mary and their children left Blacksod Bay on the SS Manitoban. Only one daughter my great great grandmother Catherine came to Scotland. I still have Hopkins relations in the Belmullet area. Not sure if that helps in your search?

I still have Hopkins relations in the Belmullet area.
