Hi,
Just wondered if anyone out there knows the parentage of Thomas George Perham who birth was registered Q1 1906 in St Albans,Hertfordshire district. In the 1911 census, aged 5,he is recorded as the nephew of William & Mary Ann Amy Scott,(Thomas's surname has been transcribed as Penham),living at 28,Alexandra Rd,St Albans,Herts.
Any thoughts??
Regards

Well without getting the birth certificate itself we could try working back from his uncle and aunt.
I was hoping Mrs Scott would be nee Perham but she appears to be this lady
Marriage St Albans Jun 1892
William Scott
Mary Ann A Evans
so that's a no go :(
Could be a sister of William married a Perham?

As Millepede said you would be better to get birth certificate to get parent's names :)

Can't see one, maybe he was illegitimate.
There are other Perham births St Albans around 1906, could check these little ones out to see if they could be his brothers.
Edward Charles 1893
Ronald Page 1907
Arthur Herbert 1910

For info the 3 boys listed above all belong to Henry James Perham and wife Frances Amelia Jane.
-
I see the youngest child of William & Mary Scott was a daughter also aged 5 & born in specifically 'St Peters, St Albans'.
Henry James & Frances Amelia name the deceased child missing from their 7 [6 living] as Henry Ernest William. Children born variously in Hackney & St Albans - same as the Scott family ???.
-
There is also marriage for a George Frederick Perham 1903 St Albans also death for George Frederick Perham 1910 age 31 in St Albans maybe worth checking

Here's an odd Perham
Elizabeth Ann Perham 34 single so she would have been old enough to be his mother.
She is daughter of Eliza Edwards. Bit of a tangle and maybe a red herring but living St Albans.

Thomas Halsey is with Ada Ellen in 1911 so that leaves Sarah Elizabeth belonging to George.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to establish if my Mary Ann Amy Evans who married William Scott in 1892 is related to Thomas George Perham, recorded as a nephew to the head of the household in 1911. Mary Ann's father was Thomas Evans & her mother was Elizabeth Lester & her grandparents were William Evans (c1815) & Elizabeth Lovell. I've hit a brickwall with the Evans family so am trying to find any other relations.
In 1901,a widowed,Ann Skyes, aged 75,is recorded as a grandmother to either William Scott or Mary Ann Amy nee Evans. I did find, from another source, that a Henry Perham ,married an Eliza Elizabeth Sykes in about 1871 & went on to have several children, including Henry James Perham who married Frances Amelia Jane Owen. Could Ann Sykes be mother to Eliza Elizabeth Sykes???? I have now totally confused myself but in the Electoral Rolls 1932,1936 (and others) there are Perhams & Evans all living at the sam addres at Noakes Farm,Rickmansworth.
Please someone help me untangle this mess!!!!!!
