Title: Calvary Cemetery, Drogheda, Meath, Ireland
Post by: Jane Dooley on Wednesday 17 September 14 02:03 BST (UK)
Ancestors lived in Drogheda in 1864.  Immigrated to USA in 1870.  Would like to know if there are Cooney's buried at Calvary Cemetery.  My Gr grandfather John was Baptized in St Mary's in 1867.  Mother's maiden name was Corcoran, married John Cooney .  Any information would be appreciated

Jane,

Are you aware that Calvary Cemetery opened in 1902?

If you search for Cooney, County Louth on:

http://www.discovereverafter.com/

you will get lots of Cooney burials - many of them in Drogheda.
