Douglas Colson Bowen Robertson married Unknown Stagno-Navarro in 1941 in Malta. I located this information in GRO Index Army Marriages (1881 to 1955).
Douglas was in the Royal Air Force and died in Warren, Macomb, Michigan USA in 2007.
I am trying to locate his wife's first name, their date of marriage and any other details such as possible children for the couple. I don't know how to locate any information for Malta.
It is possible Douglas was transferred around given his involvement in the RAF.

The corresponding bride's name comes up as Mary C Stagro-Navarro (note spelling of first part of her surname in the index).
-
She was Donna Mary Concetta Stagno Navarra according to this:

-
'Donna' was her rank - note on avm228's link that the Maltese women are prefixed 'Donna' and the men 'Don'.

That is simply fantastic. As a matter of interest where did you locate the corresponding bride's name please? Also from the website no children of the marriage are identified. Any suggestions for moving forward please??

Thank you for this - do you have any suggestions for where else I can look please?

There are children named. The best thing to do at this point would be to try and make contact with the family and explain your connection (I presume through the Robertsons).

I've just found this site, so you may have all the information you require. Douglas Robertson was my uncle and he married my mothers sister.

Thats wonderful.
Would love to send you a personal message however that feature isn't available [as I understand it] until you have made 3 posts so perhaps reply a few times ???
I am connected through the Robertson specifically Douglas Colson Bowen Robertson whose great grandmother was Mary Musgrave Bowen. Mary was sister to my great great grandmother Elizabeth Dorothy Bowen.

I just found this site and your post. I am Douglas youngest daughter. My mother's name was Concetta, which she changed to Constance after marrying my father. My mother passed away May 11th, 1993 in Malta. My father's brother, John, lived into his 90's and lived in England with his wife Ivy.
