Hoping for some assistance and posting to this board simply because John married at Jersey.
John Edward Vyvian Forester & Pauline Mary Jennings-Bramley married 18 Oct 1947 at Jersey. By 1952 the couple were in Kenya and two children born there.
Pauline Mary died May 2006 at Taunton, Somerset, England.
I am unable to locate John and am posting to this board on the off chance the couple went back to Jersey after their stint in Kenya.
Pauline's father was Colonel Richard Alfred Jennings-Bramly, of Villa Mont Gras d'Eau, Mont Gras d'Eau, St Brelade and formerly of Quennevais House, La Moye, St Brelade. Pauline's mother Ida Phyllis Baugh Le Patourel died at Jersey.
I may need to post elsewhere but thought I would start with Jersey.
Regards

http://www.192.com has information sourced from 2002 electoral roll for a John Edward Forester in Jersey JE3, in the same household is Paula Mary Forester. You have to pay to view address info etc.

Thank you so much for that - it definitely looks like John..
It may well be he died there as well...
Are there any particular sites for jersey such as family notices that may give some further information???

Hello!
I saw your post on this website. The man you are looking for was my father. His given name was John although everyone called him Jack. Can I ask why you are searching? I have also done a lot of research into the Forester family and have a fairly comprehensive family tree. He did die in Jersey. His twin brother Robert died in Kenya when he was 20/21 in 1930.
Do contact me via this website. Thank you.

Ginny, you inbox is full and people cannot message you. I have tried and failed.
You will have to put a couple more messages on the boards and then you will be able to send private messages.

Hi, I am trying to access my inbox but apparently it is full (I can only find 1 message!) - how do I empty it please? "Clearly" please get in touch and tell me what to do!!! Thanks.
-
Apparently I have to post at least three messages so that I can receive PM's. I hope this is correct as I have now posted three! Here goes!

Yes, I was going to say that, but you beat me to it.
I have now PM'd you.

On the brown strapline at the top go to my messages and in the drop down box click on read messages. This should get you there.
