Hi
There is a child buried in the family grave in St Patrick's Clonmel. The council records show that she died in 1933 aged 7 and that she suffered from a disability but there is no birth or death record for her . I also know she was not raised in the family home, was there a home/hospital somewhere in or around Clonmel that this child would have been put into in the late 1920s early 1930s
thanks
Paul

Hi Paul
Are you able to post her name?
Dawn

Her name was Bridget Drohan buried in January 1933 so would have been born probably in 1926

Hi
I applied for that certificate to the GRO including the details from the family search but got a "no trace" message back from them
thanks again

This is the 2nd post of yours I've seen this afternoon where you say GRO can't find a certificate you requested which seems strange- are you sure you are ordering correctly?
-
Hi yes I have got certs from them before. I printed off the forms and completed them by hand and posted them off. Just bad luck I think !

So, you ordered this certificate using these details (and nothing else) and they said they couldn't find it?
Birth: Bridget Drohan, Jan - Mar 1925, Waterford registration district, Volume 4, Page 523
-
Yep left parents name blank just those details but got the no trace letter
-
I would be inclined to resubmit your application stating that it is listed in the civil registration index (without mentioing the LDS site in any way).

plot number 6/112/Kb Bridget Drohan it says Powerstown church, you could try the church but because of fraud they don't give information out like they used to do.
Or ask the local paper to put a letter in for you asking for information.

I would not bother resubmitting the application for the birth as the G R O are right there is no trace of it, i was in the G R O this morning and checked the birth index for 1924/5/6 i did not see any point in asking them about it as the fault obviously lies with the L D S site.
