Post by: suee on Saturday 04 October 14 16:20 BST (UK)
Hi
I am looking for some local help on the area, Looking at a deceased member of my family I have his marriage cert.

It says he married August 1966 his address at time of marriage was 15 Haywards Mead Eton Wick Eton.

I am not from that area so I have google earthed the address, can anyone help me decide whether the properties there now would off been the same in 1966.

thanks

sue

Hi
Thank you for  that I was thinking along the same lines about the 1950s  . I am just trying to find a connection with my Grandmothers brother he married a Winifred m Goodall ne Hamblin in 1966 they were married at  St Gilberts Church and lived at the address I have given above.

The strange thing was My grans brother Herbert FLG Bradshaw (levison)  was from staffordshire and had only lost his first wife a few months before, just trying to work out any connections with Eton as i can.

There are witness to the marriage but i cant mention because i cant be sure they not still living.

Sue
