Title: obituary in ardrossan

hi
can anyone please help
I found an obituary in the ardrossan herald newspaper
for ellen neilson died 5 july 2011
but to see all of the obituary you need to pay
I don't mind paying but I don't use a credit card,
so I am trying to find out if anyone knows of any other paper I might find it.
I was hoping to maybe find a photo of ellen with the obituary
any help or advice would be appreciated

I have had a look in the Glasgow Herald, Evening Times and the Scotsman which would the obvious alternative papers and didn't see anything :(

A picture is not that common, particularly in the smaller local papers, unless the obituary is for a particularly well known person or for a longer obituary. If you look at how many words that you can't see for Ellen's obituary (17) I don't hold out much hope. Another possibility would be if a lot of people had written in the guest book and one or more had uploaded a picture on-line. I don't think anyone commented on Ellen's guest book :(

Our parishioner, Ellen Neilson, died on Tuesday 5 July 2011. May she rest in peace.
Her Requiem Mass will be on Thursday 14 July at 10.00 pm.

Hi Patricia

Looked up archives of Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald at local heritage centre but it only shows

date and wife of the late John Neilson also local undertaker.

Ellen is remembered in the parish bulletin of the time of St Peter in Chains, the local Catholic church in Ardrossan.
I presume that she has relatives in the area still.
