The family were in Nova Scotia by 1826 when eldest daughter Margaret Fraser married James Sutherland JP. Margaret died about 1834 Boularderie Island. James remarried before Dec 1857 to Christina McDonald and they went to NZ aboard Breadalbane. I am trying to find where my 2 x great grandmother Ann Fraser fits in here. In my family tree, Murdoch Fraser is listed as 'maternal grandfather of wife of great grand uncle' but I don't know how to work out who he's the maternal grandfather to?
Can anyone make any suggestions about any of theis please?
