Hi,
Was wondering if you could do a wee tidy and separate colour of my aunt from generations ago please. Quite a nice photo eh, rumour is she had money before she married below here status for love and the family cut her off

Hi Gary! Beautiful photo and nice restores.
If the lady is up to date, and ladies did try to be seen in the latest style for a photo, the date window here is rather small. The hairstyle with the ears showing started around mid decade, and the huge hoop crinoline disappeared about 1868 or so. So maybe 1865-1868ish.
She is wearing a snood :)

Ooh, what sumptuous colourings! Well done, gang :)
And...the dress is silk. You can tell by the way it crinkles around the hem, like Diana's wedding dress.
