Where do I find if this person Hannah EDGE born 13 may 1812 Buckinghamshire.(Father Edward Edge and mother Susannah Feasey )may have married a MAYNE which surname she had when she married Stephen FRIDAY 18 march 1844 Swanbourne. If she had it was possibly too early to register 1837 Would it tell you on the marriage cert if she has been married before or a widow etc thanks lnr

The 1844 marriage cert should show her marital status, the choices being spinster or widow (later certs show if someones previous marriage has been was disolved)
If she was a widow her father should be shown as Edward Edge
-
If you could find her in the 1841 census she may be with a husband which might help further :)

There's a Richard Mayne death in Sep 1840 Winslow which covers Swanbourne.
Plus a Hannah on her own in 1841 age 26 in Bierton with Broughton but just conjecture at this stage.

her marriage to Stephen Friday is online ( no image) and her father is given as Edward hedge ( think this should be Edward edge)
-
England marriages has the 1844 marriage with her father Edward Hedge.

thanks for all these replys very much appreciated. as you see in the 1841 census tells you not very much abt her and hasn't any children with her. sometimes her father goes by Hedges regards lnr

What children would you have expected to be with her? Maybe we could find those :)

Did you say Hannah was born 1812?
The marriage for Edward Edge/Susannah Feasey was 3 May 1816 so was Hannah definitely one of theirs born before marriage?
I'm wondering if she came along to the marriage somehow and her real father was called Mayne :-\

I thought that maybe if she had married a Mayne there may have been children to that marriage, thanks lnr
