Hi,
I believe this photo is of Mary Steele (1850-1925) & Thomas Fenwick (1843-1929) who lived in Stamfordham, Northumberland. Mary was my grandmother's aunt and we visited her children Nellie and Willie Fenwick in the 1970s along with our grandmother Sarah Annie Steele. Both lived in Stamfordham their whole lives and neither married:

I remember this photo (hazy memory) from a large copy on hung on their (Fenwick's) wall. Obviously, this has disappeared and I've only come across a much smaller / damaged copy in my gran's photos. The photo and back are attached and any restoration work or dates would be appreciated. I'd guess its ~late Victorian - Edwardian, but realize that the clothes are not too distinctive.
Thanks in advance.

Crown Studios stamp box dates it between 1913-29.
Obviously before 1925.

I hope you don't mind I've repositioned her head to a more natural look. The white haze over them had a ghostly look to it in the original. , Tommy

She's wearing a wedding ring.

Thanks for all the efforts, would have been much easier if we knew where the large one went after Nellie and Willie passed away. Should have made it clearer, the photo is of Nellie & Willie's parents (Mary Steele & Thomas Fenwick), it was Nellie and Willie who never married and lived together their whole lives.
Thanks.
