Title: Benjamin Blackham
Post by: brianz on Saturday 18 October 14 11:33 BST (UK)
Does anyone have access to the registers for Wolverhampton St Peter? I am trying to find out if the info that I have for Benjamin Blackham Baptised 16 Nov 1706 and a father Richard is correct, I have looked at the image on FindMyPast but it is not very clear. His name is spelt as Blackom on FindMyPast. Can anyone help?

Thanks   Steve

St Peter's parish register indexes are on here http://www.wolverhamptonhistory.org.uk/resources/indexes

There is a bap for a Benjamin Blackom father Richard 16 Nov 1706 and quite a few other children born to a Richard ( Blackham, Blackhom, Blackam, Blackman)

Hello,I have been to W-ton archives today, and looked at the original baptism. But,they are so old, they are almost impossible to read. However,i looked at the books(transcriptions)and it said-Benjamin,son of Richard Blackom. The original arent in lines, they just seem to go all over the page.Hope this helps a bit.Glen
