James died in December 1891, buried in Torryburn churchyard. Margaret died in 1900 aged 89 years.

Various back-up documents visible here: http://www.themastertons.org/genealogy_tng/getperson.php?personID=I9&tree=culross

William Masterton, brother of James, died in 1877 in Perth. Margaret Wynd, his wife, had died in 1850.
