I'm back…same questions as in my previous post…
What time frame did "D.Davidson" on Castle Street, Dunse have his business. and did he reside in Dunse.
Trying to ID time frame of photos of families of Bell & Bruce off spring.

In both 1871 and 1881 Duncan DAVIDSON is listed as living at Castle Street, Dunse (born Dysart, Fife 1830), listed as 'photographer' in 1871 and 'photographic artist' in 1881.

On a free search on scotlandspeople there was a death in 1881 of a Duncan Davidson in Duns, 1881.
However I don't know if the business would be carried on under the same name after his death.
