Trying to find any information on Ernest Roy Carter & his wife Ivy Ruth Duke they where married 1938 Brighton would really like to know parents names

Thankyou very much for all the info I'm wondering if anyone could find when Ernest & Ruth's sons Derek & Keith went to Australia Derek married app 1961 Sydney Keith died app 1958 Sydney can't find  what happened to Ernest thanks again

Maybe they flew to Australia as they were not born until c1940 in which case there would be no travel details available.

I am not seeing a birth for a Sidney Keith to this couple  :-\

Hi Rosie no it's just Keith Sydney was the area his brother married sorry about that I was talking to my x sister inlaw & she said that Ivy Ruth Carter died in Australia but thought that Ernest Roy Carter might have returned to England after he left Ivy

I'm not sure I know Keith was only 17 when he died  and his brother Derek married here Derek would have been 19 when his brother died in 1958 she reckons they all come to Aus but I can't find a thing only the death for Keith & marriage for  Derek

Thank you, I had looked at that record the other day but rejected it as most initials were wrong as were adults ages  :)

Hi Rosie initials don't match only DR (Derek Roy)Carter and age would be right this family driving me nuts I think because Derek married 3 times things have got muddled up no body even knows if this fella is still alive his daughters where hopeing I could find him here in Aus I'm having enough trouble just trying to find his parents I think Ernest Roy Carter would have been app 42 when he arrived in Aus thanks for all the help

Thanks Rosie apparently the ship went to western australia then they think it went to Sydney atleast all my side of the family was less confuseing all mine come out in the 1800's & 5 were convicts so alot easier to search I'll get the marriage cert for her & pass on what you have found I really appreciate your help thankyou

The holiday sounds a good idea somewhere warm, though the sun is shining here today and it's dry so can't complain.

I am sorry to hear that you have a leak. 

We have had our concrete porch roof 'coated' today and are hoping it sorts out a damp problem. I think we are due heavy rain early tomorrow but hope it doesn't last long as OH & a friend are replacing a fence.  ;D
