Using FreeBMD, I can't see any Margaret APPLEBY Scott born at that time, so she must not be registered with the middle name.
The 1901 census shows a Joseph B. Scott, steam crane driver, married to Jane A., with children, including a Margaret, aged "1", at 20 davison Street, Newburn, Northumberland.
The 1901 census shows an Albert Scott, shipyard riveter, married to Mary, with two daughters, including a Margaret A., aged "2", at 8 Union Street, Stockton on Tees.

Plenty under Margaret A Scott though!

Hi
Are there any other details on the marriage certificate that might help ?
Where was the marriage ?
Do you know any other details for the years between birth and marriage ?
Was she a spinster at marriage ?

When/where did she die and under what name?
If after 1969 then her exact date of birth should be given.
-
she was a spinster at marriage and married in worksop.
we think she died in scotland around 1944 name was lamb.
i saw the crane driver in the census but not riveter.
i am trying to follow the crane driver back to see if there is an appleby in the family

her death entry which i have just found shows her age as 48 in 1950. as we all know this could be just a guess from the informant

If she died in Scotland then it would be worth downloading the death registration from http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ (http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/) as it should have the names of both parents provided the informant has that knowledge.

Hi
I'm doing fine, how are you? Still watching Top Gear?
You are really unlucky, Scottish marriages and deaths are usually a boon when looking for family information.
