Title: McGlynn :-)
Post by: Christiano Reilly on Thursday 04 December 14 18:44 GMT (UK)
Hi,

I am looking for information, i have the following person:

Francis "Frank" McGlynn
Birth 1860 in Longford, Ireland
Death Mar 1929 in 47 Mill Road, West Derby, Lancashire, England

From his wedding cert i know his fathers name was John but that is where the line ends.

Does anyone know anything about John, his siblings, his spouse and or his parents?

Help would be so much appreciated

Hello.

I know for certain he marries a widow named sarah turner in liverpool, 1900.

Though i also think he also married years before, to i THINK Mary Best.

That's what I was wondering although there are different names for Francis' father on the two marriage records.

Rootsireland http://longford.rootsireland.ie/index.php shows a possible baptism / birth record in Co Longford. The site uses credits and the information found can vary.

If you mean RootsIreland, you have to register- that's free.
Then you can search the index. So searching for a baptism for Francis McGlynn with a father John McGlynn gives 2 possibilities.
However, searching for 1861 +/- 2 yrs shows one possibility. I still have some free page searches left from the old style site and it shows that birth/baptism to be Francis Maglin 1863. :-\

There are no other details unless you purchase credits and it can be expensive.
