Hi
I'm trying the find the marriage of Henry MANSFIELD to Emma Unknown.
Familysearch has a record for a Henry Munfield in 1854 but only one female (not Emma) and two men are transcribed. Is she the missing bride?
Thanks :)

Freebmd has it as these 3
Marriages Dec 1854
Atfield George Farnham 2a 106a
Briefield Caroline Ann Farnham 2a 106a
Munfid Henry Farnham 2a 106a
On the image his name has been added

Probably Caroline Ann Briefield , as on the actual images they are both squeezed in between other names on the page.

Ok, then that can't be the marriage :-[
So I need to look for a later marriage. The children born to this couple were Caroline born abt 1861 in Farnham and the second was Annie born about 1866 in Farnham
Emma appears to have died in 1868 and Henry remarries that same year to an Emma Elizabeth Dunkerton

George Atfield is added later as well and I suspect that the missing female has been too. The a on the end of the number often indicates a later addition/amendment

Henry Mumfield father Thomas married Caroline Ann Binfield December 1854
George Atfield married Elizabeth Holt - she is transcribed as 100a

Sorry that's not him. Pretty sure that my Henry's parents were Henry and Grace.
His wife is shown as Emma on the 1861 census. He marries another Emma in 1868 after the first Emma dies

At least we have eliminated the 1854 wedding :)

When Henry married for the second time in 1868 his father was named Henry - occupation Minister.
Both he & Emma were widowed, Emma E's father was Job Cowley

I presume this is them in 1861?

Farnham, Surrey
Henry Mansfield 31
Emma Mansfield 33
Caroline Mansfield 3/12
You need to get Caroline's birth certificate as that will give Emma's maiden name.
CAROLINE MANFIELD

Thanks for that. Yes that is them.
Hoping to avoid spending any money.

Think you might have to as there doesn't appear to be a baptism on line.
