I am seeking more Information about the Tempero family in Milwaukee and Lisbon, Waukesha, Wisconsin after 1844.
Thomas James I. Tempero married Mary Elizabeth Fisher 26 Aug 1844 in Milwaukee.
They had at least one child; Mary Tempero who was born 14 May 1847 in Lisbon, Waukesha, Wisconsin.
I would like to know if there were more children and their descendants from this marriage.
Thomas was born in Great Milton Oxfordshire 1815 and Mary Fisher 1823 in Lechlade, Gloucestershire.
I do not know when they arrived in America before 1844.
I would be pleased if anyone could help me further.

The logical place to start would be census records- have you done that yet? If not, FamilySearch is free and has lots of information which should help. Just put in Thomas Tempero then Mary Fisher as spouse in search boxes-
https://familysearch.org/search
For example, this death certificate for Frank looks like he's a son-
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N31W-FZG
A daughter Nellie M. Tempero here-
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XRJT-J4K
Lots more records to be found there :)

Here they are in 1860:

FamilySearch has lots of Wisconsin records.

Tempero Family
http://www.slahs.org/genealogy/families/tempero.htm
History of the Tempero Clan.
In the latter part of the 18th century, William Tempero owned a large farm near Brighton, England. He had four sons and three daughters. At his death the estate went to the oldest son - William Jr., as was the English custom. The rest of the family had to shift for themselves. The daughters married and remained in England. The two older sons - Thomas and Charles - set out for America, landing in New York in 1842. They tarried in Rochester, N.Y. about one year. They then came to Milwaukee, Wis. At that time, the land west of the Milwaukee Rivers as far as Eighth St., Hill and from Chestnut St. south to the Menomonee River was wet low tamerack swamp, and could be had for the asking. At that time the canels were the highest style and cheapest method of traveling, and a canel survey had been made from Milwaukee west by Northwest passing through near Fusswill and through the north half of Lisbon, Waukesha Co. The two Temperos selected the east half of section 8 where they built a log cabin and batched together. They broke up their first crop land with a spade and planted corn. The first winter they lived on boiled hard corn on the cob and what wild game they could obtain from near. Many times they were without salt. On Aug. 26, 1844, Thomas Tempero married Mary Elizabeth Fisher also from England. They built a log cabin on the north east quarter of section 8 where they raised their family of five boys - Thomas J., Richard H., Charles W., George and Frank - and six girls Mary, Penelope, Louise, Charlotte, Margaret and Jane. Charles Tempero continued batch in the former cabin until 1849 when he married Helen Ruchman just shortly from Scotland. To this marriage was born three sons John, William and David R - and three daughters - Beatrice, Alice (who died in infancy) and Agnes (Mrs. Howard) of Waukesha, Wis. Their oldest son born in 1850 was a farmer near Lisbon his entire life. At the age of 14 he did the regular teaming to Milwaukee - a distance of 30 miles taking 2 days for the round trip with oxen team. When he was 21, he married Jane Davidson who was born in Scotland, Feb. 1, 1847 and had come to America with her parents in 1850. These Temperos had two children - a daughter, Margaret of Sussex, Wis. and a son Charles.
