Season's Greetings to You All :)
H107/24/3
It's too faint on Ancestry.
I will be much obliged if you could decipher George and his family for me.

George Minchin, 70
Ann Minchin, 55
George Minchin, 15
James Pointer, 20 all born Berkshire
Would make George's DOB 1771 not 1751 though?
-
PS That's from the transcription though - can't read the image at all, sorry :(
-
Thanks Miriam,
Actually, 1771 makes more sense.
He was a baker in Chertsey when daughter Dinah (b1813 - Drayton, Berks) married William Stroud, son of another William Stroud, landlord of The George in Guildford Street.
Happy Christmas to you and yours!
-
Happy Christmas to you too ;D

He's an Ag Lab on the 1841 entry (where it definitely says aged 70+).

Thanks Richard,
his occupation came from the marriage registry entry for Dinah (in Shoreditch).
Scepticism remains on as a background task :(

Can just about make out that George is an Ag Lab (FindMyPast and Ancestry) and I'd agree that he was shown as being 70.
