Have been collecting snippets regarding a Thomas Curry or Currie from Corcreeny Townland near Hillsborough. Interested as he was the father of my wife's great grandfather, Walter Currie who moved to England c 1870. Walter was born in Kilwarlin and christened we think at St John's chapel, Kilwarlin c1849, he gives Thomas as his father on his marriage cert in 1873. Interesting that Walter was it seems named after the founder of St John's chapel - Archdeacon Walter Bishop Mant. Coming back to Thomas he seems to appear on the Griffiths valuations as holding 3 rods. Only other reference to him is that it seems likely to be the father of three possible siblings of Walter, marrying in Hillsborough in the 1850's. I have run out of sources now, unless anyone has any bright ideas.

There are two Corcreeny townlands, the OP seems to be referring to the one in the Civil Parish of Hillsborough, not the other in the CP of Donaghcloney.

Or it may be that there is one townalnd called Corcreeny which is partly in Hillsborough Parish and partly in Donaghcloney Parish.

The marriage took place in Seagoe Church of Ireland.

Thanks for the replies so far - interesting - timing could be right - right denomination - Walter and origin in St John's definitely meant Church of Ireland - Craigavon is not a million miles away , but having said that , there were children of a Thomas Curry marrying in the 1850's in Hillsborough and it therefore looks like there was an older generation Thomas in the Hillsborough area and not the younger chap marrying Rachel nearby. I would guess that Walter was a younger child of an older Thomas.
