Where can I find a good map of West Yorkshire around the year 1800?
Also, are there any I could purchase to hang on my wall?
Thank you so much.

Peter Harrington has loads of maps for sale - some quite expensive. He has a gallery in Fulham Road, if you can get there.

Hi,
You could try the local archives:

You could try maps.nls.uk.
The National Library of Scotland has extended its online map collection to include some old English Ordnance Survey maps. I have not checked to see if they have Yorkshire, but reckon it would be worth a look.

I like Thomas Jeffrey's map of Yorkshire 1771. Our local library has a copy but you can buy it online at
