Title: Frank S. Reade, Guilford.
Post by: David Layne on Tuesday 17 February 15 21:03 GMT (UK)
Flying Officer Frank S. Reade who gave his wartime address as 45 Mansfield Rd. Guilford, Surrey  was a crew member of 199 Squadron Wellington HF488 that was shot down by night fighter on operations to Düsseldorf, 25 May 1943.

Flying Officer Reade and my father were POW's together in Block 22 Room 3 Stalag Luft 3 Tarmsdedt.

There are 50 prisoners named in my father's POW "Wartime Log" and I am attempting to find a WARTIME photograph of each individual.  My efforts so far can be seen here,

I am hopeful that through this web site someone can help me find a photograph of Frank Reade.

With thanks, David Layne
