Hi
Hoping someone can find George Mitchell and wife Elizabeth in 1871 census.
Elizabeth was born Binstead, Hampshire about 1831
The marriage was registered in Poplar in 1865.

The only Mitchell marriage I can see in Poplar in 1865 is George William Mitchell, a mariner. He married Eliza Elizabeth Darley. Is that the right couple?

There is this one but she is not born Hampshire. It is the one from the marriage though.

I've been trying to locate a marriage for Elizabeth Cole born 1831ish Binstead to find her in 1871.

Where do you have her in censuses?
Who is her father?
Elizabeth Cole who married Alfred Wells has a father William, a greengrocer.

Well I was posting on another post but started this one coz was requesting a different lookup to what I started the topic as.
Anyway.
Elizabeth is a niece of John and Jane White age 20 born Binstead in the 1851 census.
With them again in 1861 listed as servant age 30 born Binstead.
No further info. Have been trying to locate her parents and wondering if she is the Elizabeth that was mentioned in a will of the family.
Will in 1890 mentions an Elizabeth Mitchell with a daughter Ann Isaacs.

You could look at Elizabeth Keens - husband Thomas Keens or possibly Keene.
I871 they are in Walton on Thames and have a visitor Mary White also born Binstead.
Although they are in 1861 together :-\

She is born abt 1833 in both 1861 and 1871.
I thought I had seen Eliz* Cole though in 1861 ???
Ignore all above - the marriage is a Elizabeth White and Thomas Keens.

I thought you said you were looking for Elizabeth Mitchell with a daughter Ann Isaacs and that was your interest in George Mitchell's marriage.

The will I have mentions an Elizabeth Mitchell who has a daughter Ann Isaacs.
I'm trying to establish how this Elizabeth is related to my family.
and wondering if Elizabeth Cole with my family in 1851 and 1861 could have been Elizabeth Mitchell mentioned in the will.

Could you not try the Ann Isaacs connection and do it that way?
What info is there? What is the date of the will?
Is there any indication to area?
