This is an extract from an ancestors death certificate Birth approximately 1832/3 could someone tell me what this place name is & where it is in Wicklow.
note this information was given by an Australian son on law spelling may be incorrect

I think the first word may simply be "county". You could try searching for a church baptism record on the Wicklow section of rootsireland.ie.

lol. Spent the last hour checking townlands, placenames, old maps etc., but to no avail.

I think Dermo is probably right about it being County.

Thankfully I didn't have much time to search this morning because like gaffy I was getting no where.
