Looking for information on William Alison and Elizabeth 'Betsy' wood, both born around 1800. Elizabeth was born in St Curus I believe, but I'm not too sure about William, possibly Cupar? They had a daughter together names Helen Alison and she was born about 1839 in St Cyrus

Thank you for this :)
I'm trying to find out who the parents of William or Betsy could've been, but whenever I put a search in for them on freecen.org.uk, nothing comes back for them? How do you find the things that you do?

Have you download the 2 1865 death certificates from Scotlandspeople ?
They should have the parents names if known to the informant.
