Hi :) Sat missing bits, can you help. :)
Robert Exton born abt 1684,
his first wife was called Elizabeth Knight and she died a few weeks before He married Sarah Clegg, ( 1732 )
He married Sarah Clegg in Braunston ,Rutland. on 8th Oct 1732.
My question is , can anyone find the marriage of Robert Exton and Elizabeth Knight ?
the burial of Elizabeth Exton ( nee Knight ) somewhere in 1732.

Hi Eilleen,
I've had a look at my CD for Braunston and have found the following.
The marriage they are both shown as of this parish.
There are no baptisms for children of a Robert and Elizabeth Exton (Exon) and I can't find a burial for an Elizabeth before the marriage to Sarah. But there are baptisms for children for Robert & Sarah as follows;
5 Oct 1735 Ann Exton parents Robert & Sarah ... Woolcomber
7 June 1747 James Exton parents Robert & Sarah
23 March 1742/3 John Exton parents Robert & Sarah burial 5 April 1743
13 April 1738 Sarah Exton parents Robert & Sarah ... labourer.
There is also these 2 burials that may be of interest to you, both Braunston
9 ? 17645 Robert Exton
27 July 1768 Sarah Exton widow
The only burial I can find for an Elizabeth EXON in Braunston is 25 July 1714.
There are 2 Robert Exton in the parish register for this time scale. Could it be possible that they are 2 different family's?

I've found a marriage on FindMyPast
Robert - Rob (supplied name) Exton to Elz Nite at Sproxton Leicestershire in 1715.
Sproxton not very far from Braunston and the year fits ok with Robert's birth.
The source is Boyd's 1st Misc Transcription.
Don't know if this fits with what you have but good luck.
