Title: Backhouse family baptisms

Hi there,

My great great grandparents John and Emma Backhouse (Nee Holder) both born in Wakefield, Yorkshire traveled quite a bit and lived in Leeds, Dublin, Aberdeen and Frome, Somerset.
After husband John passed away in 1873 Emma and their children moved back to Leeds.

I am looking for baptism records of the children born in Frome:

Kate Backhouse - 1867
Ada Louisa Backhouse - 1868
Alice Backhouse - 1870
John Henry Holder Backhouse - 1871

The census of 1871 has the family living at Philly Vale, Frome.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try Bath Record Office?

They have records of Frome Holy Trinity baptisms from 1838-1886.

It's also worth looking at FreeReg - www.freereg.org.uk.
