Title: Robert North 1861 Census Please. Completed With Thanks!

Hi all,

I need the above mentioned Robert North (1818-1874) looking up on the 1861 census please. Robert was born in 1818 in Hurstbourne Tarrant in Hampshire & married Mary Ann Simpson on 15th May 1851 at St Pancras Chapel, London. He was a butcher by trade. He is in 1871 in St James, Clerkenwell in London, whether he is still a butcher I do not know, as I only have the familysearch 1871 census details. Mary Ann died in 1865.

I have posted as regards the North family in general before, but not Robert himself. Would it be possible to have the full 1861 details please, as I am trying to get what children he had straight.

Hi again, Henry aged 16 b Islington is a Butcher with a George Holdsworth 72 b Surrey at Clapham Road, Lambeth

Yep, the name Tredgold, certainly does ring bells! Robert's sister Basilissa (yes, that really was her name!) North marrried a Charles Tredgold in Andover in 1830. Therefore William H must be Charles's nephew! I think! ;D

I was unaware of any children of Charles & Basilissa! Hmmm, I can see five more more children to them in Andover on familysearch baptisms! ;D
