Hi, my grandparents lost five children, 1 set of premature twins, John and Lily England 1924, a daughter, Helen Elizabeth England d.1930 a son Robert Burton England d. 1932 and another son, Thomas England d. 1936, all in Bradford, West Yorkshire. I suspect they are buried in Undercliffe Cemetery however am I right in thinking that if the family were poor (and I suspect my Grandparents were quite poor) that small children were put in and buried with someone else and would records be available of when and who they were buried with?

Contact them to find out?
They look like a very well run cemetery:
http://www.undercliffecemetery.co.uk/index.html
including:
'There have been approximately 24,000 burials at Undercliffe Cemetery from 1854 to the present day.
A detailed Grave Book, which records each burial in a numbered plot, has been kept on a continuous basis since the Cemetery opened. In the vast majority of cases it is possible to access a Register entry for each person buried at Undercliffe.'

Yep, am going to make an appointment with W. Yorks Archives as they hold the burial records.
