Could someone please take a photo of Boundary House along Fen Pond Road, Ightham for me ?
There is a Boundary Farm and Boundary Oast right on the roadside but in behind there is the old house where my ancestors lived. It used to be called Fen Pond Farm. Obviously back then he owned the whole area but in more recent times parts of the land have been sold off - as is always the case !
On the 1839 tithe map there are three cottages in one block, just inside Ightham, almost on the boundary with Wrotham parish. On later ordnance survey maps these are named as Fen Farm. Currently the building is called Boundary House
It's a grade 2 listed building and sounds lovely but I can't find any pictures relating to it.
Fingers crossed someone lives nearby.

Have you tried Google Maps and street view - this is the post code TN15 9JF?

Yes, tried that - you can't see it from the road - only Boundary Farm and Oast, the actual Boundary House is in amongst them out of sight of the road.

I have to confess I didn't google it, just took a chance that given its age, it might be listed and checked that site. ;)
