Aw thanks John...I had an idea but wasn't sure...Thanks very much for your input.

No problem Carol its a pity that more people didn't write on the back of their CDV's. At least you have a reference image in your collection.

Funny isn't it what you pick up with a scan that you don't notice with the naked eye.
Thanks for your interest.

I've noticed the same thing on Carol's pic that I have with a lot of my CDVs and that is quite obvious that Carol's photo has been damaged from being in an album. Whether its because of the chemicals in the album paper or because damp gets under the cutout edges and mould develops readily, I'm not sure (of course there is the age factor as well). Anyway, reluctantly because of this, I have removed all my photos from their albums.
Just thought I'd butt in and mention this. :)
You're right though Carol, I've made a few discoveries after scanning that I hadn't picked up previously.

Oh that's a good point Caz and worth some consideration as I have a few that have suffered in the same way ::)

hi Carol, I had a play with it. She looks sweet doesn't she?
-
Tommy that is really lovely...the colours are so delicate and complementary. I hope you enjoyed doing it as much as I enjoyed viewing it.
Thanks for spending time on it.

Thanks Carol, George and Caz. I've had some great inspirations here setting an example for me. My Mom loved the colour lavender in her old age and it looked so nice with her white hair. I do enjoy colouring them Carol and I think of what they're lives must have been like while colouring. It gives the expression "extended family" a whole new meaning. :)

Hi Carol.......One from me also.

Thanks Carol its my pleasure. I enjoyed working on this photo as I could feel the warmth the lady was resinating.
I'm afraid too many hospital appointments are taking there toll they sap so much time.
