Title: Tulliebole, Fossaway, Ivy Cottage, Fraser/Stobie
Post by: laurarb on Sunday 26 April 15 02:02 BST (UK)
Hi everyone,

I believe my great grandmother was born in Ivy Cottage in Tulliebole (1900).  If I have read this right off the birth certificate.  Her name was Isabella Fraser (her mothers maiden name Stobie) she died in her early 30s but might have had a sister Mary Fraser.  Any info would be grand.  Does Ivy Cottage still exist also.

Many thanks

LB

Hi and welcome to Rootschat, this appears to be Isabella in 1901 census:-

Richard Fraser 38 occ Road Surfaceman b Perthshire
Isabella 25 b Torryburn, Fifeshire
Mary 2 b Kinrossshire
Isabella 0 b Kinrossshire
Residing at Rack Cottage, Fossoway or Tulliebole, Kinrossshire

Google searching their is an "Ivy Cottage" mentioned in the Fossoway Community Website 20th April 2015 Councillors reports, stating Ivy Cottage can't be boarded up without the permission of the owners.

I believe it is the main street in the village of Crook of Devon which was part of the parish of Fossoway and Tullibole
