Does anyone know if Electoral Rolls for Lanarkshire between 1935 & 1941 are available online or if not, where would I obtain information

I  think that the  electoral roll was suspended until after WW2,and started again in 1947.

I don't think there is such a thing as a central roll for the entire county, each burgh would have had its own roll and those areas outwith the burghs would have been kept, I think, at the county administration which may have been in Hamilton. According to your previous post on this subject your mother was living in Wishaw, so why not start there?

Any information you need regarding electoral roll is kept at the mitchell library,I once used it to trace my wifes birthmother,I can't remember if you could get a copy,I wrote down the information I needed at the time.
