Hi,

Don't suppose he could have married in Canada ?

Just came across an Edward Bowbrick who was born Twickenham Middlesex 1790 (so a couple of years out) former trade -  labourer. Military date 25 January 1812 - 53rd Foot Soldiers, 1st Battalion

British Regimental Register of Services gives his start date as 3 April 1809  to 24 January 1812 - 2 years 297 days.

Hi Sandra  :) Thank you for your input!
I have a possible 2 Edwards both from Twickenham the 1794  and Edward bapt: sep 1786 this is the Edward I contributed the army records too. record covering  3 April to 24 June 1812. 25 sept to 24 march 1812.
There was one other Edward who was born at the time, he died at birth. I have found no other Edwards born in Twickenham.
Edward 1794 bapt: in 1803 other children in this family had years between birth and bapt:
also the marriage seem to have taken place where the female lived. so Kingston I think the marriage would have taken place if there was one. then they lived in Wonersh in 51cen: and Bramley in 61cen: no children found. Thank you again for your help. all the best Bruce. :)
