I've found another medallion / medal and I know nothing about it at all, apart from having found Tinwald Parish in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland.
It is about the size of a modern ten pence piece and it may have something to do with the Second World War as it has the dates 1939-45 on the reverse.
On the front, right at the bottom there are two words (see photos), the second being "London". I can't make out the first.
Does anyone have any idea what this medallion is? What is the scene on the front meant to represent?
Many thanks.

I've just been trawling the internet and it might be "Pinches" of "London".

Might it be a medal that Tinwald Parish gave to all who served in WW11 ? Perhaps Googling the Parish might throw up som e information.

Thanks Rhododenron.
I haven't been able to locate anything yet but I'll keep looking.

I've had a look at the site but haven't found any leads yet.

Did you note the description of the window is very close to the design of the medallion? Perhaps the church will be able to give you more information.

I see what you mean. I hadn't made the connection at first but now you've pointed it out I see the similarity. I'll investigate further.
Many thanks.
