Title: Rosebank Cemetery MIs
Post by: Hibee on Monday 18 May 15 09:38 BST (UK)
Does anyone have access to Rosebank MIs?

I'm looking for Isabella Bradley Mitchell (nee Sweeney), who was buried there in December 1957.

Thanks.

As a RootsChat Aristocrat I am somewhat surprised with your request.  Mortonhall holds the Interment records 1846 (date of opening) to present, unless of course these records are unavailable at this time because of the fire or perhaps the search fee has put you off this route.   To think in the past you could do the search yourself for nothing.

Rosebank Cemetery MIs were transcribed & published last year by the Scottish Genealogy Society in Edinburgh. Available from their website: www.scotsgenealogy.com

By the way, just wondering if the picture of Adams Row and your Sweeney interests are connected. I've Sweeney family members who lived there at one time.

Thanks - I see it now!

No connections in Adamsrow with my Sweeneys (they were Ireland to Leith, via Greenock).  If you're interested in Adamsrow, you might want to check my website.....
