So you haven't looked at all, you're just relying on people here to find the information for you, even though you could easily get it some yourself from www.freebmd.org.uk.

You will need to buy a copy of the death certificate to find all the details; only the reference details are online.
Certificates can be purchased, cost £9.25, from GRO : http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

Marriage registered DecQ 1915, birth registered MarQ 1916; marriage anytime from October - December 1915 and birth anytime from late November 1915 to March 1916.

one was born 1920 and other in 1917 and other 1916?

OK It would appear that if that George A Boxall birth is correct, Louisa was heavily pregnant at marriage?
Keyboard86

but she might of been pregnant before she got with my nans husband?

Unanswerable, but I would suggest the father was George T, the birth certificate of George A may help?

if she was heavily pregnant with him wouldnt explain that he wasnt the father and that it brought shame on her family for having an child out of wed-lock? would make sense for them to marry as no one woud find out and shame put on either sides of family?

??? Yes ok if that is what you wish to believe rather than the couple living together as man/wife prior to their marriage?

it didnt work like that in those days!

I'm afraid it did - often! Two sets of my great-grandparents never married, but lived together as if they were.

OK once again , unanswerable, but that birth certificate would possibly help?
My thoughts, you are wishing to believe anything but the obvious?
Keyboard86
-
no but a strong possibility!
-
More likely that he was the father; maybe his occupation kept him away for weeks/months and that was the only time that they could marry.

WW1 did sometimes get in the way of couples getting married as soon as they might have wished.
-
i stand my what i said!
-
So do I.
The marriage could have taken place in early October and the birth in mid-late March, so not necessarily a heavily pregnant bride. Only the certificates will give the dates.
-
i stand my what i said!
Why ask on here then?
-
because i needed info x

To let others know they've wasted their time looking for information you've already been told ::)
-

If you have discovered new information then you should post it.
We are not mind-readers.
It may also help if you consider the advice that you are given especially when it has been suggested on more than one occasion that you purchase a certificate as and when your funds allow.
