I am wondering if anyone has a photo of the grave stone of:
Esther "Kersal"" Davidison" Hewie?
She was born 1837 and died 1883 and is buried in Little Lake Cemetery.
* Kersal was her maiden name.
*Davidson was her 1st Marriage .
*Hewie was her 2nd marriage.

HI,
If nothing does materialise on here - you could create your own FIND A GRAVE memorial and request a photograph. How to submit a photo request is shown on this link

Sandra,
Thank you so much for the heads up on that info you sent. Always one hopes that a family researcher will also see it and reply. Then I can share what I have as well…..Ann

Have you tried contacting the cemetery to see if she has a grave marker. She isn't listed at Find A Grave (over 3,000 names listed) or in the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid. For someone to not be included in both makes me wonder if she has an unmarked grave.

You know…I was beginning to wonder that both she and her husband are in unmarked graves..sad eh…but I will phone out there (I am in BC) and see what info they have on records.
This is what is great about RootsChat….what one does not think of,someone else does…Great Site
Thanks so much! :)

copy of her death record can be viewd through the FS site. Search under Esther Hewis but image definitely Hewie.
Religion noted as Presbyterian - wonder if there are parish records re her burial
There are birth records of offspring too.
Looks like Andrew Hewie married again to Sarah Ventriss
