Hello everyone (:
I have come to a stop trying to trace the Milward family. I have Edward Milward b.about 1813 in Pentyrch. He appears on the 1841 census with his wife Gwenllian living in Pentyrch. Their children Jane, Edward, Susannah, Ann, Eliza, Sarah and John.
Both say they were born in Pentyrch but I cant either of their parents or families. Can anyone find parents for them? I believe the wife was originally Gwenllian Llewellyn as there is a marriage between her and an Edward Milward in 1831.
Many thanks for any information you can gather. Short of going down to the records office I am stuck

]The nearest I can find to William in the parish of Pentyrch is William Millward Bapt 25 August 1810 Parents William and Martha[/s] Sorry wrong name
There was a Gwanlian? Lewellin Bapt in the same parish 12 Jan 1810 - Parents David and Gwonlian?

Edward and Gwenllian had Jane, Edward, susannah, ann, Eliza, Sarah and John.
Yes that's what I came up with for the wife, the 1810 baptism. Does this mean that the records of Edward Millard and forebears would have been damaged or lost?

There is a baptism for an Edward Millar in Pentrych, 1812, maybe the vicar misheard the name :-\
