Can't see any of her family in 1881 :-\ have you got her parents/siblings in 1881?
I wonder if they all moved from Suffolk to London or just her.
-
Hi

1871 Sproughton Suffolk
Thomas Maidwell 32 marine ? factory labourer Sproughton
Ann M 30 domestic Headleigh
Mary 10 Sproughton
Robert 8
Alfred 6 Brampton
Pheobe 3 Sproughton

1881 they are still there but missing Mary and Pheobe.New wife Sarah 56 from Brampton. Pheobe's baptism at Sproughton 18.9.1867 gives her mother as Maria Hazell perhaps she's visiting her Hazel relatives in 1881 but I can't see her.

Like Rosie17 I have searched 1881 with variations, including for Sproughton (rhymes with Horton). If she went into Service, her name could well have been changed, families liked continuity, for example all kitchen maids were Mary and all house maids were Kate, that would be the name they were known by within the household.
