Can you clarify. Was Rachel the wife of Robert Hughes b 1791?
If so - her death would be as Rachel Hughes, not Rachel Davison
-
Yes, wife. Rachel Hughes.

What is the last census you have Rachel & Robert on?
If they died on or after 1.7.1837 their deaths will be on freebmd. Have you checked using the link I gave you above?
-
Yes, for Rachel's death I got March of 1846 at Great Boughton. For Robert I got a list of several candidates.

Please help me find the death record for Robert Hughes b. 9 May 1790 at Ewloe, Hawarden, Flintshire. He is the husband of Rachel Davison b. Nov. 1798 Hawarden.

Yes. But I am just learning how to use this message board format. How do I delete/discontinue previous messages/queries that address multiple searches some of which have been completed ?

Hi
If you have additional information or a follow up question relating to the same person/family then continue on the original post.
The problem with multiple topics relating to the same person/family is that people can spend time duplicating information already provided because they are not aware of other topics.
Unfortunately not all questions can be answered easily, you are looking for a person with a common name who married, and was possibly born, in a particular location but is there any evidence that he died there? Have you found the various family members on the 1841 or later censuses ? This may help narrow down when he died. In England & Wales deaths after 1st July 1837 were registered in the Registration District where the person died which may not be where they normally resided.

In the 1841 census ages for people over 15 were supposed to be rounded down to the nearest 5 years so that means Robert could be any age between 50 and 54, and Rachel any age between 40 and 44

Please help in finding the Death Record for Robert. He was married to Rachel Davison who died in 1846 in Great Boughton. Last child, Robert Jr., was born in Feb. 1840. Is living in Mancott in the Census of 1841.

Hi
As advised on previous posts - freebmd is the site to use to look for this type of information
www.freebmd.org.uk
Unfortunately deaths prior to the mid-1860's do not show ages and with such a common surname it may be difficult to find the right entry
Have you looked for him in later censuses?
-
Looking.

Hi
Have you purchased the death certificate of Rachel Hughes? Hopefully Robert was the informant and this would confirm he was still alive in 1846.
