Does anyone have any info on my late Grand mother Catherine.
/Katherine Bartle( (married name was Stokes), who was born in approx. 1900/1 in the Stepney area of East London.
She passed away in 1967.

Im not seeing a birth reg for her.
There are other Bartles in that area in that era (Harriet Elizabeth 1900, Edith Elizabeth 1902).

Who did she name as her father on her marriage cert?
Have you found her in 1911?

Hmmmm not spotting her death eitber! Where did she die?

Hi , thanks for info, she  died  in approx. 1967, at that time she was co-habiting with a man called  James Spencer at Landin house  London  E14
She  died I think in or around  Poplar London e14

P.s  we  never did locate her  birth certificate

I'm kind of wondering if she was born as Edith Elizabeth BARTLE (Stepney 1902) and then baptised(Ratcliffe/Tower Hamlets) as Cath*rine Edith BARTLE 22 Oct 1902 to Edward (carman) and Harriet BARTLE.

Best idea would be to get her marriage cert to see who her father is listed as.

I think her death must be listed as Kathleen SPENCER(she appears that way on electoral registers):
