Title: MURPHY, Peter - born Dundalk 1830

I know this is a long shot, but I am trying to find the baptism of Peter Murphy in Dundalk in 1830. Sadly I don't know the names of his parents.

I have tried to read the church registers on line but have just about gone blind!

Is there any other source I can go to?

He came to Australia and did marry here in about 1855 and he had children, but I can't actually find a record of the marriage (and I have my suspicions about whether he did indeed marry...). So no joy there.

I have found one for that year, with 5 children.
Was his wife Julia Whelan?
