Hello Alan

Did she marry? Any Clay witnesses at marriage?

Interestingly if you put "Clay" into FreeReg it brings up a lot of "Clee" entries for Bitterley. Can't see a baptism there for Dinah though.

There's an entry in the Shropshire Marriages for a Dinah Clay to Benjamin Bevan in 1825 in Wrockwardine. Gives Dinah's parish as Shiffnall.

Above Dinah's Surname on the register entry is an asterisk and the word "Clee". One of the witnesses to the wedding is a Richard Clee.

There's a baptism for a Richard Clee in Bitterley in 1807 on FreeReg, parents John & Mary.

Hi All

Sorry just got back from the Records Office.

I only have the marriage from family search.

I do not even have down the witnesses as I did this a while ago I had put next to the marriage Clay or Clee.

I do have all the census's from 1841 to 1861 and 1871(widow)for her with Benjamin. till she died in 1877 St Asaph
