How do I do this?
It used to be very straightforward as the original poster could always modify the original post and thread title, but now I can't see any way to do that.
Do I now have to inform a mod that a thread needs to be marked and moved?

I think you can change the title for the first 24 hours, after that you have to ask a mod to do it. The only threads you can lock are those on the Totally off Topic board. If you want it moved you have to ask a mod, but that's always been the case hasn't it?

Well, I'm onto it in a big way.
Going back through my threads and marking whatever I can.
As an excuse, I bet there are a lot of folk who don't even know about the tick, or why threads need to be declared 'completed'. I hardly ever visit the Common Room or places like that, preferring to just use the 'local' requests boards.
Maybe it might be worth a 'blanket' post pinned to the top of EVERY board alerting posters to the need for applying the tick?

I have not started a post for ages so have not had to do it. No doubt it will catch on eventually ;D
